1. How many guests can the function space accommodate?
The function room at Cornerstone is a fully enclosed, all-weather function space. Depending on your event style and seating configuration, it can comfortably accommodate between 70 and 120 guests.
2. Is there a minimum number of guests?
No. We can accommodate both small and large groups.
The function room can be:
- Booked exclusively, giving you private use of the entire space, or
- Reserved as a non-exclusive area, where other patrons may also be using the venue.
Exclusive bookings are subject to a venue hire fee, which is based on guest numbers and your event requirements.
3. What is the difference between exclusive and non-exclusive bookings?
An exclusive booking provides private use of the entire function room, allowing you to create your own atmosphere. This includes the ability to play your own music, decorate the space, and enjoy complete privacy.
A non-exclusive booking reserves an area within the function room for your group, however the venue remains open to other guests. As the space is shared, personal music, entertainment or activities that may impact other patrons are not permitted.
4. Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Cornerstone is fully wheelchair accessible, including access to the function space.
5. Is the function space indoors?
Yes. The function room is fully enclosed, fully heated, and protected from the weather, making it comfortable to use throughout the year.
6. How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible. Our function spaces are popular and can book out well in advance, particularly during weekends and peak seasons.
7. Is there parking nearby?
Street parking is available nearby, subject to availability.
8. Can we play our own music?
Yes—but only for exclusive bookings.
If you have booked the Courtyard exclusively, you’re welcome to play your own music and personalise the atmosphere. For non-exclusive bookings, the venue’s background music will
remain in place to ensure the comfort of all guests.
9. How long can we use the function space?
Functions can run until 11:00 pm, in accordance with our liquor licence.
10. Is there a minimum spend or room hire fee?
For functions, our set menu starts from $65 per adult.
Exclusive bookings may also incur a room hire fee, depending on the day, guest numbers, and event requirements. Please contact us for a personalised quote.
11. When is the final payment due?
A minimum $200 deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is payable on the night of your function.
